This allows an easy and powerful design both of algorithms and usability. The result is the fastest and smallest IV algorithm worldwide – by far: Other solutions consume 5 to 20 times more CPU power and memory.
Edge Analytics
That single world class algorithm enables IV to run completely embedded on most cameras or edge devices. No additional hardware needed:
- No expensive DSP chips needed !
- No high end cameras with tons of memory needed !
- No expensive and bandwidth consuming centralized server based solution.

Server based Analytics
 Although viasys is exclusively privileged to run completely on today’s edge devices, it can also run server-based or as a plug in for Video Management Systems (VMS). On a typical dual core PC each viasys channel consumes far less than 1% of the CPU power – allowing dozens of channels to run on the same PC that also runs the VMS. More than 100 analytic channels can run on a dedicated analytical server.
Usability
 A powerful solution for the best price is not enough to make it suited for the mass market. viasys is easy to install, easy to configure and easy to support.
